Superior Ready Mix, a concrete mix supplier providing construction services and construction retail yards, known better in the Valley as the Ryerson Company, is recognized throughout the valley for its iconic 18 foot tall, eleven-foot wide, neon sign fitted with an accurate temperature needle.
This sign was donated to the museum by Mrs. Ginger Ryerson, Wife of John Ryerson, the late owner of the Ryerson company, and longtime volunteer and advocate of the Pioneer museum. While the sign was initially donated in 2016, it only recently saw use on the roadside in 2023, due in no small part to the contributions of Bob Chell and the CNS Signs company.1
